Description:
Position Title:
Head of Performance Management Europe, Commercial and Cost
Reports To:
Head of GAPM
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement performance management strategies that align with the overall business objectives. Lead the performance management team in Europe to achieve commercial and cost efficiency goals.
- Financial Performance of European Segments: Monitor and analyze financial performance of European Segments. Participation in monthly MRF calls with all segments. Preparation of the minutes for European segments, Issuing monthly MRF reports to CEO Europe. Supporting the preparation of the quarterly MRF report.
- Cost Performance: Issue the group Cost report.Fixed cost and productivity reports, supporting group-wide initiatives to define Fixed cost and productivity targets and benchmarksInitiation of specific cost benchmarking subjects of processes outside GCB
- Credit risk Management: Follow-up of the group-wide credit risk and issue a quarterly credit risk report to the CFO. Follow-up of critical credit risks with the segment.
- Cash-burning units: monthly follow-up with Treasury of the cash burning units, quarterly in depth follow-up with the segment and issuing the related report.
- Decision support to the CFTC: evaluation of proposals for CFTC approval under a business perspective: Long-term supply contracts, foot-print optimization, Capital Structure, Follow-up and support of M&A
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the European region. Ensure alignment with the company’s financial goals and provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaboration with Segment CFOs in Europe regarding Performance Management, but also group wide for cost, commercial and CFTC decision support. Cross functional collaboration with a.o. Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership position in Finance like CFO of a tier1 entity or BD/segment CFO
- Experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
