Description:

JOB SCOPE

The Head of Performance Management is a Director level position, reporting to the Head (VP) of Revenue Development. This is a newly created position that will play an important role within the SkyTeam Alliance Office, whose scope and sphere of influence extend beyond the boundaries of the function. The position contemplates supervision over two business functions, as follows:

  • Accounting and Controlling
  • Data Analytics

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

KEY RESULT AREAS / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget and Control

  • With the support of the Accounting manager, the you will lead the discussion/preparation of the budget, as well as the steering and optimization of resources consumed. You will monitor the progress of key projects in correlation with expenses/resources consumed and will recommend strategic actions to redeploy resources to other projects/initiatives to avoid irrelevant use of our budget.
  • Define and orchestrate a solid budget/priorities steering process, with monthly cadence that aimed at optimizing our resources to reaching as much targets as possible: address the status of resources consumed and project completion, highlight recommended shift of resource allocation and flexibility to tackle new business opportunities.
  • Develop predictive models and analytics to optimize operational performance and budget steering, in close collaboration with different teams that could be involved.
  • Establish a one-page dashboard that reflects the key information for SkyTeam’s CEO awareness

Data & Analytics

  • Oversee with the support of the Data manager, the integration and analysis of different data from various sources (member airlines, internal projects, products and services, OAG, PPSs, GDSs, etc.) to drive improvements and support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance data capabilities and infrastructure.
  • Managing relationships with key vendors/providers; Providing ‘Data as a Service’ solutions to airline members wanting to enhance their internal data with SkyTeam’s data.
  • Structure the 2 above areas into a strong entity to support control and optimization of our resources.

Responsibilities and tasks of the position are not limited to the above mentioned, and deviations can occur at any point in time as the position evolves and in concert with the manager.
