Description:
SALARY CIRCA £65,000 PA
As our Head of UK Physical Security you will support the Head of Property & Workspace Services to review the existing operating model and ensure that it is fit for the changing security landscape that Allianz now operates within.
Allianz is a FCA regulated organisation, with it’s own unique complexities, which provides various challenges and requires an individual who is capable of quickly understanding our Company culture, who has a collaborative mindset, to provide the SME support required by the business.
This role is responsible for delivering the people and premises security aspects of the Protection and Resilience Framework. To achieve this, the role will collaborate with people in Risk, Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Operational Resilience, Business Operations, People and Communications.
Reporting into the Head of Property and Workspace Services, this role will also be responsible for the following:
- Acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Physical & Protective Security to provide a target operating model that is fit for purpose for the current risk landscape Allianz operates within.
- Use existing knowledge and contacts to ensure that Allianz UK delivers the requirements of the Physical & Protective security functional rule, through the use of a supply chain.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key physical security providers and authorities.
- Being responsible for all reporting (including developing reporting tools such as dashboards) associated with Physical & Protective Security within the UK and at Group level on status of each aspect of Physical & Protective security
- Enforcing implementation and operation of controls and process requirements
- Acting as a single point of contact or undertaking as appropriate actions on Physical & Protective Security audits, completing the self-assessments, participating in reviews and providing documentation
- Interfacing with, and acting, as a key contact for other parts of the risk management community including Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Threat Monitoring, Global Incident Management, Information Security etc.
- Supporting on the leading, managing and delivering of all activities required to meet the requirements of our Group’s functional rule for Physical & Protective Security
- Overseeing and assuring a programme of both corporate and site Threat Analysis and Risk assessments (TARA’s), working closely with landlords and other tenants to ensure that the estate meets minimum standards for physical security
- Attending various meetings organised by Allianz and representing Physical & Protective Security activities as and when required.
