JOB OVERVIEW

Repton Dubai is seeking to appoint a Head of Physics to start August 2025.
The Science department at Repton Dubai is staffed by a friendly and enthusiastic team of experienced teachers with excellent backgrounds of teaching in international and UK schools. Science at Repton is taught as a specialism subject from years 10 to the IB Diploma level and A Level. Repton has outstanding science facilities for teaching, with large well-equipped laboratories with the latest equipment, including interactive Promethean boards. All staff have access to a laptop. Staff are supported by a team of hard-working science technicians. Students are encouraged to have an investigative approach to science and practical work is embedded into the curriculum for all year groups. Repton is proud of its excellent results, with students consistently achieving above the world average in both IGCSE and IB.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHERS

• Bachelor’s degree plus QTS and PGCE
• For specialist teachers, the bachelor’s degree must be in a directly related field (e.g. Physics teacher should have a science related bachelor’s degree)
• For senior school positions teaching KS4 and above, IB orA level teaching experience is essential
• Leadership experience is preferred
