Description:

Our client is an electrical services company based in Europe. With more than 80 billion euros in 2017, the company manages a diverse portfolio of more than 130 gigawatts of generation capacity in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. They are currently for someone who leads the Project Management Office in Chile.

Some responsibilities of the Head of PMO include:

  • Set and enforce project management standards that align with organizational goals.
  • Prioritize project portfolio management to align with business strategies and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Implement project management tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and guarantee project success.
  • Develop PMO policies and practices to cultivate a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and improvement.
  • Mentore PMO team members to promote professional growth and high performance.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring regular updates and satisfaction to senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct project evaluations to incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
  • Oversee PMO budgeting and financial management to keep projects within financial targets.
  • Advocate for best practices in project management across the organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness

The perfect candidate is an engineer, with at least 8 years experience in similar roles for the energy industry. Constant communication with the HQ is required, therefore the candidate must be fluent in English. Leadership skills are strongly desirables.
