Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Head of PMO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational excellence of our Project Management Office. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new department that will oversee the delivery of business analytics, support master data management, manage project risks, and continuously improve processes to ensure the successful execution of our central and specialty lab projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the PMO that aligns with our business objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on project management best practices, risk management, and operational improvements.
Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of the project portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Implement governance processes to monitor project performance and adherence to standards.
- Business Analytics: Lead the development and deployment of business analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
- Project Risk Management: Establish and maintain a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans.
- Project Management Training & Development: Design and implement training programs to elevate project management skills across the organization. Mentor and develop project managers and other team members.
- Operational Excellence: Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and quality within the laboratory. Lead process improvement efforts using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant frameworks.
