As part of our team, you will look after a discerning membership spanning over 30 countries world-wide.
We are currently looking for a Head of Procurement to join our senior management team in this recently created position on a full-time permanent basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement function across the Club ensuring a cohesive strategy that addresses the distinct needs of all areas
  • Manage the full procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, ensuring value beyond price through negotiation and delivering optimal service levels across all categories.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, operational teams, and suppliers to drive efficiencies, cost savings, and innovation
  • Develop and implement key performance measures, reporting regularly on procurement performance, cost-saving initiatives, and service levels from suppliers
  • Integrate sustainability into procurement activities, developing action plans to reduce our carbon footprint.
  • Inspire and lead the Goods Receiving team, fostering a high-performance culture across the receiving, storage and distribution of resources.
  • Build and manage robust supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Monitor market trends, and competitor strategies, to ensuring we maintain the best efficiency and quality the market has to offer.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure information instruction and training is delivered to support the best use of supplies.
  • Oversee risk management and compliance within the supply chain.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous senior management experience within the hospitality/tourism/leisure sector within procurement or finance
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices and systems
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Driving Licence is essential due to the spread of facilities across the club
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent is desirable
