As part of our team, you will look after a discerning membership spanning over 30 countries world-wide.
We are currently looking for a Head of Procurement to join our senior management team in this recently created position on a full-time permanent basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement function across the Club ensuring a cohesive strategy that addresses the distinct needs of all areas
- Manage the full procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, ensuring value beyond price through negotiation and delivering optimal service levels across all categories.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, operational teams, and suppliers to drive efficiencies, cost savings, and innovation
- Develop and implement key performance measures, reporting regularly on procurement performance, cost-saving initiatives, and service levels from suppliers
- Integrate sustainability into procurement activities, developing action plans to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Inspire and lead the Goods Receiving team, fostering a high-performance culture across the receiving, storage and distribution of resources.
- Build and manage robust supplier relationships, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Monitor market trends, and competitor strategies, to ensuring we maintain the best efficiency and quality the market has to offer.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure information instruction and training is delivered to support the best use of supplies.
- Oversee risk management and compliance within the supply chain.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous senior management experience within the hospitality/tourism/leisure sector within procurement or finance
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices and systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Driving Licence is essential due to the spread of facilities across the club
- CIPS qualification or equivalent is desirable
