We are excited to be offering a key role in taking Medway NHS Foundation Trust forward in its journey to outstanding. The Head of Medical Production and Performance is a new role and will give the successful applicant the opportunity to shape medical rostering and job planning practices in line with industry excellence. The post holder will be empowered and accountable for Medical Production within the Trust that will involve initially a complete review of existing practice, lead on business cases to implement an e-rostering solution and then develop high standards of rostering practice based on knowledge of business intelligence and demands. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that operational demands are met through standardised job planning and rostering processes (unit hour utilisation) They will oversee Divisional job planning activities and advise the Divisional leadership teams based on identified gaps and inefficiencies.
The post holder will oversee the medical rotation processes to ensure that service demand are met and that medical production hours are fit for purpose and compliant with Trust policy. This will incorporate the review of current rostering delivery and design the optimal Trust wide solution reflecting NHS and industry best practice. This will include ensuring the visibility and compliance of all processes associated with medical production to improve their productivity and efficiency
