Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for short and long term strategic planning and execution to reach Kga and Nobel Biocares strategic goals
Plan, direct, and monitor all production activities within the site in Karlskoga to maximise the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; quality standards and all EHS applicable requirements/standards.
Plan, implement and monitor a strong CI culture, built on Lean and EBS, in all area of production
ACCOUNTABILITIES –
- Accoutable and Responsible for performance and sustainment of Continious Improvement (CI) Culture: Daily Management, PSP, Kaizen Funnel Mgt, VPM, EMS, Bowler
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets, long and short term linked to the overall targets of the plant. Through planning and execution of Lean tools such as Problem solving (PSP), Standard Work (SW) and daily management. Report the results on daily, weekly and monthly cadence.
- Coordinate work with cross functional resources; specifically Quality, Maintenance, Process Engineering to achive agreed results.
- Responsible to lead and coach investigation of root cause for Customer complaints and implement countermeasures to improve the process
- Develop and execute productionstrategies to reach short- and longterm goals.
- Develop and implement manufactuirng procedures and allocate labour and capital resources to maximise productivity.
- Analyse production, maintenance, and manufacturing data to identify problems and tace that will improve performance.
- Overall budget responsibility for the function
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of managers who are responsible for various production areas such as machine operation, surface treating, assembly, packaging maintenance and CNC support.
- Work Environmet responsibility for the function appicable laws and regulation
- Plan, prioritise, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimise disruptions to manufacturing schedules
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE –
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)
- High school/university degree in relevant area
- Experience with and understanding of production development
Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge in Ms Office and SAP
- Coaching and train direct reports
- Develop skills (CP) within EBS toolbox to support CI culture and to drive prrformance
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years qualified experience of relevant area and of leading production function
