Description:

This role is responsible and accountable for the performance of all programmatic inbound revenue & relationships across JCDecaux UK. You will lead all aspects of the management of strategic DSP, digital agency and trade desk partnerships, and build quality relationships that keep JCDecaux synonymous with quality of service ensuring repeat business and above market share for programmatic OOH.
You will lead and empower a team to deliver tailored education programmes which demonstrate an understanding of marketing objectives to ultimately drive demand into programmatic OOH.
You will lead, support and motivate the team, developing the roles and responsibilities of individuals by setting S.M.A.R.T goals and addressing training needs. In partnership with the Director of Programmatic & Associate Director of Programmatic outbound, you will define and direct the execution of the strategy and activity of the Programmatic team, educating and inspiring the marketplace about the role of programmatic OOH within the media mix.
You will represent the commercial interests of the business on all technical projects impacting programmatic OOH including but not limited to relationships with existing technical 3rd parties and assessment of future 3rd parties.

Impact

Team Motivation and Management

  • Lead the production and delivery of annual business plans based on JCDecaux’s programmatic needs and challenges, ensuring that new objectives and findings are communicated across the wider business

Demand Generation & Revenue Performance

  • Successful implementation of commercial growth strategies that drive programmatic demand across the digital market place
  • Lead the business’ understanding of digital ecosystems to demonstrably drive revenue via programmatic means
  • Oversee and undertake tailored client sessions, hosting, presenting and educating key stakeholders about programmatic OOH’s role in the media mix, best practices and ways of working.
  • Work with appropriate JCDecaux team to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting, business intelligence and future proofing as the business continues to evolve technically.
  • Understand the impact of business and media trends in order to establish best business practices for JCDecaux.

Relationship Management

  • A thought-leader who is recognised internally and externally as an expert in your field
  • Overall ownership of all transactional and service relationships with programmatic OOH buying community
  • Develop a close working relationship and establish processes with your peers across the business to exploit the full scale of resource in the business.
  • Establish good communication and knowledge-sharing practice with demand teams at VIOOH and other JCDecaux markets
  • Your focus is on maintaining the best quality of service as programmatic OOH scales to ensure demand beyond market share but you may at times be required to work within cross-departmental groups on projects where you expertise may be impactful
  • You will define and lead all aspects of AdOps and Governance for Programmatic OOH

  • Understands the media supply chain and the ecosystems that exists within it
  • Strong technical knowledge of programmatic, with an ability to simplify and communicate in a clear, jargon-free manner that focusses on the customer benefit
