DESCRIPTION

Our Worldwide team is looking for a Today at Apple Head of Programming for UK and France to support strategy and execution of Customer Engagement programs in the region and multiple stores including Apple Regent Street, Covent Garden and Champs-Elysees. This position will drive the strategy and curation of cultural programs that drive customer interest and engagement across Apple Retail stores in UK and France. An evangelist of this vision, you are responsible for curating and delivering an ongoing program of culturally relevant programming. In this role, you will partner closely with Retail Marketing, store teams, internal Apple partners, and external talent to conceive, program, implement, and implement programming to enhance the Apple Retail experience and foster community engagement in an integrated way. - Build a regional and geo-wide programming strategy that delivers culturally relevant in-store and/or virtual and digital content across all formats of Today at Apple programs. Work with the leadership team to set the vision and roadmap for market. - Create community programming with store teams which fosters local engagement. - Cultivate, manage, and maintain relationships with external partners to bring new audiences to Apple. (e.g. community organisations, cultural institutions, entertainment, art, developers and design industry professionals). - Maintain intimate understanding of the Apple brand and services model as well as the key role that products, Retail programs and campaigns play in the brand. - Partner with Store Ops and Apple Retail field leadership on the market level to align on plans and secure support at the store level. Lead communication with Store Operations, Comms and PR teams. Ensuring events are promoted through all available internal and external channels and are accessible to diverse community audiences.

  • A deep understanding of market-wide trends across culture, education and tech in both physical and virtual settings.
  • Well connected within the cultural and creative industry in their regional market with the ability to discover, recommend, and source talent.
  • Significant experience in managing high profile events and partnerships, including broadcast events, series content/formats, virtual events/content experiences, experiential and live.
  • Creative and highly strategic in the development of content experiences and programs that build and engage audiences, deliver against business and marketing objectives, and deliver demonstrable value.Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams include and are not limited to: Programming, Production, Creative, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Store Operations, Internal Communications, Training, Merchandising, Finance, Online Store, Store Strategies, Publishing, Procurement, and Marcom.

  • Flexible project management style with agility to quickly adapt and effect change. Ability to successfully navigate and implement multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation skills including experience presenting to large audiences.
