Join our team as Head of ERIEYE & Sensor Project Management Office within Airborne Early Warning.

ERIEYE & Sensors organization is responsible for the primary radar and dorsal unit of Saab’s GlobalEye - world’s most advanced airborne surveillance system. Highly complex product development requires highly skilled subproject managers that excel in all aspects of project execution.
Airborne Early Warning, a Business Unit within Business Area Surveillance develops, delivers and maintains Airborne early Warning Systems such as the GlobalEye, a top performer of today´s AEW product in the World. GlobalEye is based on our own developed advanced radar ERIEYE that is integrated with other sensors into a Mission Systems.
Your role
As Head of our Project Management Office, you will:
- Lead our subproject management team: Guide and empower our subproject managers to execute our technical subprojects efficiently
- Ensure Success: Provide the conditions for our subproject managers to lead the advanced product development from early uncertainties to agreed deliveries via clear plans, cost and quality
- Secure Plans; Take responsibility for ERIEYE & Sensors’ project roadmap, cost estimations, resource planning, budget and risk management
- Collaborate: Be an integral part of the ERIEYE & Sensor Management Team, working closely with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Adapt and Innovate: Modernize our ways of working using new tools and technologies, including automation and digitalization
- Build Networks: Develop and maintain a vital Saab network, fostering close cooperation with other parts of the Saab community
- Drive Change: Develop and challenge the organization, management teams, and employees to achieve excellence
You will also cooperate and contribute to the overall development of Project Management Excellence with other Project Offices.
Your profile
To be successful in this position you have built your project management toolbox and have a genuine interest in technology, the ability to motivate, engage and challenge yourself and others. You are a skilled communicator with the ability to create and maintain a broad contact network and close cooperation. We also value that you have:
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower your team, creating a committed and energetic work environment.
- Organizational Excellence: Skilled in prioritizing, delegating, and maintaining a holistic perspective.
- Experience in Strategic-, Roadmap- and technical development planning with a business perspective.
- Financial Expertise: Knowledge in cost estimations, budget processes & control, and risk management
- The ability to create a collaborative work environment with transparency, respect and trust among your employees.
- You have a degree in Engineering or similar and communicates fluently in Swedish and English.
Last but not least, you have the ability to support and boost a collaborative work environment with transparency, respect and trust.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations regarding security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
