Head of Public 360° Software Product Group

The Public 360° Business Unit, within Tietoevry, operates primarily in the public sector and offers a range of solutions used by over 500 businesses and 300,000 users. We are close to 400 colleagues and the unit aims to become the leading ECM & Decision Support Platform for municipalities and governments in Europe.
As the Head of the Public 360° Software Product Group, you will develop and implement a strong Product Vision and ensure business alignment with overall Tieteoevry Product Strategy. By further strengthening our product-first approach, you will ensure the swift transformation towards a SaaS business model and ensure a strong foundation to increase our recurring revenue.
We have ambitious plans to grow internationally. Your Leadership will be instrumental in increasing our Market footprint both in Revenue and in Geographical expansion.
You will be accountable for the Profit and Loss of the entire Product Portfolio and some of the main responsibilities will include High Level Product Strategy, Life Cycle Management of current and future Product, revitalizing our sales, marketing and service strategy, and retain our high level of People Engagement.
Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Public 360° Software Unit, aligning it with Tietoevry’s overall objectives and industry strategy.
  • Provide visionary leadership, setting clear goals and priorities for the unit.
  • Drive the transformation of the unit towards a SaaS-based business model.
  1. Product Development and Management:
  • Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Public 360° software suite.
  • Drive innovation and ensure that solutions meet national archiving and case management standards in the Nordics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product roadmap and prioritize feature development.
  1. Go-to-market:
  • Working very close with the Sales, Marketing and Consultancy functions to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, ensuring market penetration and customer acquisition. This will probably be the most important focus area the next years.
  • Engage with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and challenges, and align solutions accordingly.
  • Support revenue growth through successful product positioning and competitive differentiation.
  1. Team Management and Development:
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team in functions including Products & Strategy, Technology & Development, Consulting, and Sales & Marketing.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Support career development and employee engagement initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications:

  • Strong international experience in software product development.
  • The international setup of the unit will be much larger than current situation with approximately 400 employees in 6 countries. Due to our ambitions plans with expansion, we would need a person with international leadership skills in different cultures.
  • Higher education within Information Technology or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience within the software industry, preferably in a product-centric unit.
  • It would be beneficial with understanding of case and document management systems, process automation, and compliance in the Nordic and DACH region in Europe.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business transformation towards a SaaS business model.
  • Knowledge of the potential of technology trends such as AI to enhance customers’ business and internal processes in the organization.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in driving product innovation and revenue growth.
