Description:
HEAD OF REGISTRATION
The Medical Council of Ireland is seeking to appoint a Head of Registration (Assistant Principal Higher Grade) to lead its Registration team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Registration function is central to the delivery of the Medical Council’s purpose and vision and this pivotal leadership role will be responsible for all processes and responsibilities relevant to the day-to-day management and critical process improvement of the Registration function.
This role will report to the Executive Director, Regulatory Operations & Support Services and will be responsible for implementing and embedding process improvement changes and in doing so create and implement policies and standards of continuous process engineering/improvement within the Registration team.
The overarching expected output of this role is that it will be accountable for leading the required transformation of the current function and delivery of business plan deliverables. This role is expected to work in collaboration with the Head of Registration Projects - a separate role which will lead out on the continuous process improvement which is necessary for the delivery and success of this core function.
Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the following core processes and day to day leadership and management of delivery and performance of the function to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
