Responsibilities:
This is an exciting new strategic leadership position reporting to the PVC Research & KE to lead the university’s RDAP application process and develop our REF2029 submission. Working collaboratively with senior leadership, stakeholders and our wider academic community, you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and frameworks for research degree programs, our Units of Assessment (UoAs) and evidencing our research impact. The post-holder will have a postgraduate research degree (PhD) or equivalent professional experience, strong knowledge of HE sector and OfS regulatory framework, significant experience in academic quality assurance and governance, excellence in leadership and project management and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
