Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a new Head of Research Quality & Excellence to join our PEI team here in London. This individual is responsible for setting, monitoring and driving quality standards across PEI’s research operations and products globally. The job holder will work with Research & Analytics teams in globally to ensure research output delivered through PEI’s subscription products is accurate, up to date and comprehensive. The job holder will also manage all relationships with outsourced data providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Lead and inspire teams in their work to increase the quality and quantity of research and information gathered globally.
- Develop, implement and monitor quality control routines and processes to ensure research outputs are accurate, comprehensive and of a high quality.
- Develop systems and measures to identify research quality and completeness deficiencies and lead efforts to implement remediation plans.
- Ensure that the research work undertaken is in line with customer needs and exceeds customer expectations.
- Develop, track and report on the key performance indicators used to track the continual improvement of research quality.
- Manage the relationship and commercial negotiations with third party research agencies employed in research work. Set, measure and assess effectiveness and value for money.
- Develop and implement plans for process improvements across PEI’s research operations globally. Develop updated documentation in engaging formats on research process best practice and how-to guides.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the amount of information and data gathered from the market on a primary and proprietary basis.
- As part of a team, deliver greater efficiency to research operations by further implementation of technical solutions (e.g. automation, scraping).
- Develop relationships with market practitioners to maintain ongoing understanding of market needs for data and understand levels of appreciation for PEI research products.
- Regularly present PEI data at events globally.
- Play a full and active leadership role in PEI’s global research team and engage with initiatives outside the core job description with enthusiasm.
