Description:
HEAD OF REWARD - LAT NITROGEN
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving reward and compensation strategies in a dynamic, multinational environment? LAT Nitrogen, a leading European provider of nitrogen-based products in the fertilizer and industrial chemical markets, is seeking a Head of Reward to lead our European People Reward strategy and operations across our group.
Location: Flexible (Austria : Linz, Vienna)
Key Responsibilities :
- Development and implementation of group-wide HR strategies, policies and processes in the area of People Reward, including Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, insurance and HR data management.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to HR and management teams on reward practices, policies and incentive programmes in order to improve employee attraction, retention and motivation.
- Jointly manage with local reward networks on variable incentive plans, including modelling, tracking and administration of payouts.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, job analysis and structuring of offers for new hires and promotions.
- Manage annual salary campaigns, merit reviews and exceptional actions across the business.
- Own and manage the People Reward strategy on corporate level, negotiating contracts with third parties and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Lead initiatives across the People Reward network and provide guidance and training to the HR network.
- Set and analyse HR KPIs (People Analytics) for strategic decisions.
- Liaise with business leaders, finance, IT, legal and external providers such as brokers and consultancies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in social sciences, law, business economics, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Fluency in English at a business level; additional European languages (especially German or French) are a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, including 8-10 years in a People Reward role.
- Proven expertise in managing functions, leading international projects and driving change in complex environments.
- Proven ability to analyze data, manage risk and deliver innovative solutions while maintaining the highest integrity.
