Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • First degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Estate Management, or any related field
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of proven years of experience in any sector of the real estate industry that involves either selling physical products or services e.g. land, buildings, mortgages, real estate investment and finance, etc.
  • The ideal candidate must have a very sound knowledge of the real estate industry in Nigeria
  • Experience working in top real estate and Infrastructure development companies in Nigeria
  • In-depth understanding of land titling and transactions
  • Previous exposure and access to a good network of customer base e.g. Diaspora, cooperative, developers, estate agents etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with strategic focus and mindset
  • Effective communications and presentation skills to be able to engage, and win customers
  • Proven track record of success selling landed assets and services
  • Understanding of the sales management process
  • Excellent Negotiation skills
  • Sales leadership skills and experience
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from the planning stage to the execution stage
  • Strong presentation skills with strong use of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to negotiate and close out deals.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

The Head of Sales is responsible for the development and performance of all Sales activities in the organization and the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company’s vision and values. S/he will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of new product/service lines for clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales plans aligned with market trends and company objectives, establish sales strategies with KPIs, and adapt resources to support sales initiatives.
  • Identifying strategic business opportunities for the company to generate revenue.
  • Develop pricing strategies to optimize profits, manage sales budgets and forecasts, and ensure sales activities are within budget.
  • Grow client network, maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, and secure new institutional customers to expand market reach.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Coordinate sales activities for the real estate development business
  • Building market recognition and customer base in the primary location.
  • Build a detailed understanding of the client’s products, services, and capabilities, as well as of our competitors and current and prospective customers in the Real Estate Market.
  • Exceed any personal or commercial targets set and manage strategic planning, and forecasting, as well as reporting activities as necessary.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for the market that ensures the attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
  • Gather market and customer information to evaluate customer research, and market conditions, and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.
  • Develop an up-to-date knowledge of the characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses of the company’s products & services.
  • Develop a good knowledge of the FM Real Estate market; demand competition and prices
  • Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of new product/service lines for clients
  • Provide timely sales updates to the Managing Director
