As a Department Manager you:
- Have 7+ years of experience as a leader, preferably within sales but it is not a requirement.
- Have good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing budgets.
- Strong background in managing customer relationships and ensuring high service levels.
- Skilled in developing, leading, and motivating teams across functional roles
- Are fluent in English.
- Experience from the marine industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:
As Head of Sales & Sales Support, you are overall responsible for both sales, order management, as well as technical and commercial support of 4-stroke propulsion and propeller spare sparts globally. You will be managing a team of 18 skilled employees, consisting of Sales Managers, Technical Sales Engineers and Sales Coordinators, handling more than 10.000 quotes and 5.000 orders each year. In this role you will be part of the Spare Parts Management team and have close colleagues in Denmark and Houston.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Providing strong, supportive leadership to prioritize team motivation and maintaining a clear direction, ensuring that each team member is aligned with MAN ES goals and fully engaged in their roles.
- Ensuring achievement of sales budgets and targets by monitoring performance, optimizing processes, and aligning team efforts to meet strategic goals.
- Driving customer satisfaction through high-quality customer service, technical support, and relationship-building.
- Supporting and aligning regional sales growth by working closely with our worldwide sales offices.
- Engaging in cross-functional and strategic projects to support company-wide growth initiatives.
In this role, you will have a lot of different stakeholders both in Denmark and globally. You will be working closely with other functions in the Danish offices as well as globally. In this role some travelling is required.
