Who Are We Looking For?
As a Social Media Manager, you will lead the social strategy for Nasdaq’s Corporate Platforms business, which is comprised of Listing Services (supporting companies transitioning from private to the public markets) and Corporate Solutions (our suite of solutions geared for corporates that are focused on ESG, Corporate Governance and Investor Relations).
The role demands an expert social media strategist and storyteller who is passionate about working with Nasdaq’s leadership team to help bring to life Nasdaq’s unique position at the intersection of capital markets, technology, and innovation – as well as showcase and celebrate the world-leading brands and innovative companies that call Nasdaq home. You bring a unique combination of story-telling in the digital realm, a creative mind that can bring those stories to life in compelling and differentiated ways, and a passion to work with and support a range of companies across industries that come to Nasdaq to list.
This individual will partner with the Corporate Platform’s US leadership, marketing, sales and communications teams to develop organic, paid, executive and influencer campaigns across multiple social media platforms. The candidate will coordinate social media strategies across the Corporate Platforms business, as well as rollouts for pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO campaigns for Nasdaq-listed companies. You will report to the Director of Corporate Communications for Nasdaq’s Corporate Platforms business and will manage a Listings Social Specialist based in New York who delivers influencer campaigns including organic content creation, paid amplification, whitelisting and a cohesive measurement strategy across all main platforms.
We are looking for a candidate that will:
- Ideate, project manage and execute high-impact social media rollout plans across the Corporate Platforms business
- Drive strategy and execution of content calendar, creative production and posting of content across multiple channels
- Develop new, innovative, and creative content series to help tell the story of Nasdaq’s Corporate Platforms business – and our clients – designed for impact and reach across social media platforms
- Position Nasdaq thought leaders and executives as industry influencers through social amplification
- Develop KPI’s and insights both internally and with external partners to benchmark expectations and goals (analyze performance and share results with senior leaders and stakeholders)
- Monitor (social listening) social media accounts for insights and key takeaways for clients, and prepare various internal reports as needed for key constituents
- Coordinate social media strategies and rollouts for pre-IPO, IPO day, and post-IPO campaigns for Nasdaq-listed companies
- Maintain relationships with Nasdaq-listed companies and support ongoing visibility in partnership proposals
- Partner with Listings marketing colleagues to create and optimize social media content for paid and organic social media campaigns
- Assist in capturing/shooting content at live events and IPO celebrations, ceremonies and large-scale events
- Be open to appearing in and interviewing thought leaders, influencers and executives on video: in studio and via Zoom
- Aid in the process of end-to-end production and logistics for multimedia projects with the social and creative teams
- Thrive in our fast-paced environment, fulfilling last-minute requests and quick turnarounds, while prioritizing ongoing assignments
- Engage in reactive and proactive response on behalf of the brand, responsible for delivering upon the brand personality, tone and voice across social
- Keep a pulse on current social media and cultural trends to identify new opportunities for our social strategy
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field with excellent communication, presentation, relationship management and writing skills
- 6-8 years of experience managing social media for brands or publishers, as well as experience working with internal and/or external agencies
- Savvy user of essential social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, WeChat)
- Experience running successful social media campaigns (targeting, executing and measuring paid social content on small and large scales)
- Self-starter with the confidence and ability to propose innovative strategies, manage initiatives and come up with new ideas, as well as optimize content to generate the best results
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining high-quality and attention to detail

The base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $151,700. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
