KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Strong background in event management, ideally within the hospitality or pub industry.
- Experience planning and executing both large-scale in-house events and intimate, high-profile guest events.
- Strong network of suppliers, brands, and entertainment providers.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and meet financial targets.
- A creative thinker with attention to detail, ensuring events run smoothly and offer a memorable experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management, particularly within the hospitality or pub sector.
- Experience working with high-profile clients and managing exclusive events is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Special Events will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a diverse range of in-house and guest-driven events across the pub group’s venues. This includes managing key seasonal events, brand collaborations, and private, high-profile functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In-House Event Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning and execution of key in-house events, including Opening Parties, Seasonal Events: Halloween parties, Christmas celebrations, New Year’s Eve parties, and brand collaborations.
