Responsibilities:
- Referral Management: Oversee the referral process by liaising with referral agencies, social workers, and local authorities, ensuring a streamlined intake and assessment process for new clients entering supported living services.
- Oversee Client Transitions: Manage and coordinate the smooth transition of clients into supported living services, ensuring their needs are met and all legal, regulatory, and care requirements are adhered to during the process.
- Identify and Develop Opportunities: Research potential partnerships, tenders, and contracts within local authorities and healthcare providers.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with local councils, commissioning teams, social care providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, gaps in service provision, and potential areas for business growth in supported living.
- Bid Writing and Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, and proposals to secure contracts for supported living services.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop strategies to increase client base and revenue streams, including promoting new services and packages.
- Compliance and Regulatory Alignment: Ensure services and proposals meet legal, regulatory, and quality standards, such as CQC (Care Quality Commission) requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for new contracts and service agreements with commissioners and other stakeholders.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with operations, care managers, and support staff to ensure service offerings align with business development goals.
- Client Onboarding and Retention: Oversee the smooth onboarding of new clients, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage business development budgets, financial targets, and forecasting to drive profitability.
- Brand Awareness and Promotion: Drive marketing efforts to raise awareness of the company’s services within the local community and wider sector.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to network and promote the organisation’s services.
- Property Acquisition and Preparation: Identify and secure new properties for supported living, working with landlords, developers, and real estate agents. Ensure properties are fully equipped and compliant with safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards before clients move in
