Responsibilities:
To be accountable and responsible for providing leadership, challenge and support to the Mayor, Members, the Chief Executive, Corporate and Directorate Leadership Teams to ensure the service understand and engage positively with communities, place and partnerships.
To be accountable and responsible for providing strong and visible leadership on behalf of Mayor, Members, Corporate and Directorate Leadership dealing with a wide range of high-impact, complex and sensitive issues, drawing on experience, specialist skillsets and knowledge, as well as and extensive networks both within and outside the organisation.
To be accountable and responsible for leading and managing a strategy and policy function and for developing and delivering business intelligence, performance and improvement functions.
To lead a sustained focus on priority outcomes whilst tackling inequalities and improving social cohesion, voluntary and community sector.
