WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be considered for this role you’ll be able to demonstrate extensive supplier relationship management experience, ideally within the automotive or vehicle leasing industry. You’ll be a strong and inspirational leader, able to develop positive working relationships and use your strong commercial acumen to ensure you and your team deliver on both operational and strategic goals. You’ll be someone who is across the latest automotive supplier trends, and with one eye on the future, challenge ways of working and drive innovation.

Also, we’re looking for the following:

  • Experience of supplier relationship management across both cars and commercial vehicles
  • Proficiency of contract management, including contract structure, review processes, KPI management, and reporting
  • The ability to collaborate with and influence colleagues, bringing teams together to deliver a seamless experience
  • A strong and effective relationship builder with an analytic mindset, using data to support your SRM strategy

Responsibilities:

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

Reporting into our Deputy Managing Director and forming part of our Operations Senior Leadership Team you’ll own the development and delivery of supplier relationship management across all suppliers, ensuring smooth running of our supply chain and fostering strong relationships that deliver innovation, profitability and great outcomes for our customers and Novuna Vehicle Solutions.

SOME OF YOUR KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Ensuring Novuna Vehicle Solutions is seen as a ‘customer of choice’ for our suppliers, through having strong partnerships with innovation at the heart
  • Leading and overseeing all supplier relationship management activities across Novuna Vehicle Solutions ensuing they are delivering on safety & compliance, fleet availability, cost control and overall experience
  • Delivering supplier performance reports based on KPI analysis and regularly meeting with suppliers to discuss trends, performance and enhancing our relationships as strategic customers
  • Taking responsibility for tracking supplier spend, ensuring the costs are in line with contracts and actively looking at insights to enhance cost saving efficiencies
  • Proactively leading and empowering your team by encouraging supplier excellence, collaboration, best practice and continuous improvement
    Please note this is a field based role with weekly travel across the UK to meet with suppliers and travel to our offices in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) and Newbury (Hampshire) as required.
