JOB DESCRIPTION
Join us in Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) as the Head of Talent Acquisition (m/f/d) to drive and execute our TA strategy in close collaboration with the Global TA team to attract, source and hire top talents to support our segment´s growth. In this newly created position, you will focus on ensuring high operational excellence of the DPS global TA team to deliver against desired time to hire and to ensure a high-quality hiring manager and candidate experience. You will report to the Head of HR DPS and you will work closely with the DPS HR community and Regional AskHR teams.
The position can be filled in US (Ames, Eden Prairie) or Europe (Hamburg, Neumünster, Kolding, Nordborg).
BACKGROUND & SKILLS
- Master´s degree, or Bachelor´s degree with demonstrated experience
- Proven experience in a senior talent acquisition role leading the TA strategy from technical and manufacturing-related positions to administrative, corporate and management positions
- 5+ years leadership experience and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices and tools
- Ability to work effectively with a hands-on mindset in a dynamic and changing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the global DPS talent acquisition team and manage recruitment workload globally
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and local People Partners to understand business priorities and recruitment needs - bringing subject matter expertise and market insights to talent discussions and business growth plans
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to onboarding. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract a diverse pool of candidates and build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners
- Ensure continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition processes, through the identification of issues, recommending solutions and supporting the changes
- Establish data protection and quality standards to manage process and data related risks in TA. Develop and reinforce policies
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve the hiring process
- Collaborate with Global TA to drive standard processes, data quality and align across businesses to ensure excellent user experience
- Support local teams with employer branding efforts by creating engaging content for social media, collaborating with universities, professional organizations, and industry events and showcasing Diversity and Inclusion
