Job Description

The Head of Talent Management is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that align with the Umdasch Group’s global business objectives. This role involves overseeing talent development, and retention programs to ensure the company develops and retains top talents globally.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a global talent management strategy that supports the company’s business goals.
  • Talent Development: Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring it is fair, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and maintain succession plans for critical roles within the organization.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and HR teams across different regions to ensure alignment and consistency in talent management practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure all talent management practices comply with local and international labor laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in talent management or a related HR field in an international context and in leadership.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Experience with international HR practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Fluency in English is required; German and any additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support global operations.

A SALARY IN LINE WITH THE MARKET IS OFFERED FOR THIS POSITION, WHICH IS BASED ON THE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION AND ADEQUATE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position in Austria is 55.400,00 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
