Description:
The Head of HR Development has to contribute to following Mining HR team objectives:
- Support to create an HR vision on people and capability development for AM Mining
- Implement Group Objectives and Policy into relevant Mining strategies and policies
- Support management of Mining segment leadership development, talent management and D&I programs
- Direct HR responsibility to the Segment Corporate teams and HR support to the units.
The Head of Talent Management & HR Corporate is directly responsible for the following areas:
People Development , designing and deploying with his/her team the Mining Talent Management Strategy for Global Mining Business and ensuring an adequate supply of manpower and skills across the organization.
- Establish the different requirements, formulating & organizing training interventions and activities, either in-house through AM University & Mining internal training facilities or through external sources.
- Give direction to all training and development activities including management and defines solutions in line with organizational needs.
- Design specific resourcing programs to prepare a pipeline of Talents to fuel the organization, based on Work Force Planning outcomes.
- Organizing leadership capability assessment for Mining Top Leadership and N-2.
- To ensure proper action plans execution for Speakup+ outcomes with Mining Corporate / Mining Units
- To give direction to ensure a robust GEDP Process, including organization and review of Career Committee
- To ensure that People Development initiatives are deployed through the Learning & Development network in Mining
- To ensure that the right development program are in place to train and develop future leaders and to have a Sustainable Mining Business
- Support creation of regional 1st level supervisory trainings (HAY 13) in the regions
- Act as a L&D partner and HR adviser to local Units
Drive building of HR capabilities notably in AM LiberiaImplementation of HiPo development exchange missions & other HiPo events/initiatives; assessment & coaching to HiPos
Responsibilities:
The Head of HR Development is dealing for Global Mining with job mapping, policies and procedures for Global Mining (including resourcing), Comp & Ben files (Salary Increases & Bonus payments) for GM & below population..
