So where do you come in?
We’re currently looking to enhance the team and bring in a senior leader who will provide the strength and depth critical to the success of delivering the Homes and Motor Claims strategy to become a high-performing business, fit for growth. Reporting to the Retail Claims Director, you’ll be responsible for interfacing with the wider business, utilising your technical and stakeholder management skills enabling a best-in-class Claims strategy that will develop and sustain value to our customers, colleagues and shareholders.

Responsibilities:
- Working with Actuarial, Finance, P&L, and Claims, representing Claims at key performance meetings such as Segment Boards, Loss Ratio meetings etc. Partnering with Finance and Actuarial to understand the actuarial patterns, and relevant causation and response to observations.
- Refining and executing the technical strategy for Home and Motor Claims, responding to market, legal and regulatory changes.
- Implementing best practice processes and collaborating with QA teams to minimise leakage.
- Building and maintaining best-in-market centre of expertise supporting UK Retail Claims, ensuring greater knowledge, consistency, and quality throughout the claims function.
- Acting as the key liaison between various teams, representing claims in key technical forums to influence overall strategy and approach. Providing assurance to Retail Claims Director of transversal teams including Large Loss, QA, Training and supplier management.
- Supporting the Retail Claims Director in identifying effective data analyst use cases.
