Description:
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES:
- Leading the Technical Operations team of software and data engineers, with overall HR responsibility for hiring, coaching and talent management;
- Allocate engineering resources ensuring technical skills are in place to deliver EDINA’s projects and services;
- Work with EDINA Head of Services to understand service roadmap priorities, plan and ensure delivery of prioritised developments;
- Contribute to strategic aims of EDINA as a member of management team, with key responsibility for Technical Operations section;
- Ownership of strategies for core business systems e.g. CRM/Help Desk/incident management, business continuity planning, information security;Manage and have oversight of hardware, application software, middleware and performance of EDINA’s subscription services.
