Head of Technical Parts

We are hiring a Head of Technical Parts Subcategory . The job can be located in Luxembourg , France (Dunkerque or Fos-sur-Mer), Spain (Aviles), Germany (Bremen or Eisenhüttenstadt), Belgium (Gent) or Poland (Dąbrowa Górnicza).

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure services at right quality, price and quantity, achieves management gains agreed with the BP and strategy.
• Ensure good teamwork and communication.Lead customer satisfaction improvement action plan

• Manage the Technical Spare Parts team based in Poland, Germany, Belgium, Dunkerque, Fos-sur-Mer, Asturias and Luxembourg.
• Manage average yearly spend of 390 million EUR.
• Drive the performance of the Lead Buyers/Buyers located in the Hubs to guarantee the deployed solutions will capture all the synergies and deliver value creation, lowest TCO and highest service level to our mills
• Ensure deliverables are produced at good quality level and on time, and ensure the Subcategory has a clear strategy in place, approved at Category Management level and shared with key stakeholders.
• Responsible for planning, managing, and controlling all the Technical Spare Parts Purchases for Europe.
• Provide strategic direction and assign priorities to the hubs’ sourcing projects
• Advise higher management on Technical Spare Parts sourcing strategy, market outlook, price evolution.
• Monitor cost, identify benchmark and work for best practices to achieve lower TCO.
• Ensure availability to all plants of the Technical Spare Parts required at the specific quality and delivery.
• Responsible for definition of Supplier Panel at Subcategory level (Strategic Partners, Core Suppliers, Basic and Spot suppliers) as well as corresponding type of management and related actions.
• Develop sourcing strategies with supplier panels changes, cost driver movements and captive sourcing. Manage supplier with the development of long-term relationship (contracts). A specific attention will be given to BVC (Best Value Country) sourcing, in particular Turkey and China.Ensure and control negotiation of all global and regional contracts including contract design, implementation, and review.
