Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technical Director and Global Head of the Technology Command Center. This leader will lead four Technology Command Center locations globally. The Technology Command Center team is responsible for real-time monitoring of all technology environments and for mobilizing the response to service disruptions, incidents, and proactive mitigations. The Technology Command Center team works in close alignment with Enterprise Incident Management, Cyber Fusion Center, and all other command center teams. The Technology Command Center is responsible for managing, mitigating, and detailing over 100 technology incidents per month, with each incident having potential to impact enterprise availability and/or significant technology objectives. This intense and high-pressure environment must have tightly managed, efficient, and effective processes to maintain vigilant monitoring and rapid mitigation of issues impacting our most critical technology environments. Performance must meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
In this role, you will:
- Provide management direction and leadership of to all global technology command center teams either via direct line or through dotted line influence
- Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and command center leaders in roles with moderate complexity and risk in Technology Operations
- Regularly interacts with technical first responder teams including IT Operations, Cyber Fusion Center, and Digital Channels etc.
- Regularly interact with senior executive leaders concerning business process impact during large incidents
- Coordinate policy and procedures with Business Continuation, Root Cause Analysis and Service Level Management teams
- Engage and interact with line of business and technology leaders of Enterprise IT Process Technology Operations Management, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for technology operations process
- Work with IT risk management, compliance and all lines of defense, including Audit, to ensure platform risks are proactively managed
- Institute controls to ensure appropriate risk management
- Manage the costs, demand and resource capacity for the team resources
- Develop and guide a culture of availability and talent development to meet business objectives
- Owns and is accountable for maturing the major incident management processes and procedures.
- Accountable for all IT Availability special projects related to major incident management and command center.
- Accountable for Wells Fargo’s physical Command Center strategy.
