Description:
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced M&A Legal Professional: 6–10 years of experience at leading law firms, with a deep understanding of negotiating and managing M&A transactions, particularly in corporate structuring and private equity transactions;
- Strong Analytical and Drafting Expertise: Proven ability to provide strategic legal advice, with strong M&A drafting skills and the capacity to handle complex transactions;
- Client-Focused & Results-Driven: Entrepreneurial spirit with a solid track record in client consultation, focused on delivering results and adding value in M&A deals;
- Effective Communicator: Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to confidently present to clients, stakeholders, and other audiences;
- Collaborative & Commercially Driven: Creative thinker with sound judgment, a strong commercial focus on warranty & indemnity insurance in M&A, and excellent people skills to work effectively under pressure and resolve conflicts constructively.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
WTW is seeking an M&A Specialist based in the Netherlands to join its global M&A team. In this position, you will expanding WTW´s market presence in the country. You will advise clients and colleagues on transaction design and facilitation, explore potential placement opportunities, and assess market developments within the M&A insurance sector.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Strengthening the Dutch market by identifying growth opportunities, building relationships, and delivering innovative, client-focused solutions;
- Providing strategic insights and tailored M&A advice to enhance client value and drive revenue from both new and existing clients;
- Developing and implementing a vision for the Dutch transactional risk solutions market;
- Collaborating with other WTW offices, and Lines of Business (LoBs) to coordinate activities, promote cross selling, and beter serve prospects and clients.
