WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
State Street is seeking a Head of Transfer Agency (PCF 33) for Ireland responsible for teams in both Dublin and Kilkenny.
Reporting to both the EMEA Head of Transfer Agency and the COO of Ireland, the role will be required to demonstrate exemplary leadership skills, a comprehensive knowledge of relevant Transfer Agency product and operational workflows and risks to provide effective management of Transfer Agency for the firm. The role has a significant strategic impact to Global Transfer Agency and is also accountable for the client experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
As Head of Ireland Transfer Agency you will be responsible for:
- Ownership of the design and execution of the Ireland TA strategy
- Accountable for the operational service delivery and the client experience. Ensure day to day service delivery and operational risk management across Transfer Agency.
- Governance of the TA risk profile including ensuring TA meet all Regulatory requirements. Demonstrate a ‘Risk Excellence’ culture by establishing the tone at the top and drive a culture of Risk Excellence across Transfer Agency teams.
- Leadership and culture of the TA group in Ireland with a focus on employee engagement and the development and retention of talent
- Driving the technology strategy and execution of TA strategic plans
- Driving a culture of innovation and transformation throughout the team.
- Partner with Sales, Relationship & Product teams to support management of key client relationships and service delivery, and new business opportunities
- Identify operational risk and formulate solutions to mitigate risk.
- Develop leaders and create sustainable succession plans for self and direct reports
This role is a PCF 33 (Head of Transfer Agency) position.
It is a condition of the PCF-33 Head of Transfer Agency Ireland role that you comply with the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements that are applicable to the role, namely:
- requirements as to your fitness and probity, in accordance with section 21(1) of the Central Bank Reform Act 2010). Approval from the Central Bank of Ireland will be required prior to taking up the role.
- requirements in relation to the Common Conduct Standards under the Individual Accountability Framework, given effect by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023
- requirements of the Additional Conduct Standards under the Individual Accountability Framework, given effect by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023
The candidate for the Head of Transfer Agency Ireland role will possess and/or be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record at a senior level of running operations team.
- 15 years plus working experience in Transfer Agency and/or Fund Administrations
- Technical knowledge of Transfer Agency activities and associated regulations.
- Enterprise leadership skills managing client service delivery and business growth.
- Experience interfacing at a senior level with clients, service providers and regulators.
- Strong team leadership, coaching, mentoring, communication and presentation skills
- Focus on talent management, optimizing technology and managing operational risk
- Energy, enthusiasm and an obsession with service quality and delivering to our clients
- An ability to think strategically, managing complexity, change and multiple priorities
- A relevant graduate degree or masters qualification that can be leveraged in this rol
