Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Head of Wellbeing Education (Senior Schools) will be responsible for overseeing the development, delivery and documentation of the Wellbeing Education program across the Senior Schools. In addition, this role will liaise with key pastoral leaders in the Senior School to ensure that the Wellbeing Education program is delivered to all Senior School students regularly, particularly aligning with the school’s priority around Respectful Relationships and Consent and other areas of regulatory compliance for schools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The development of a curriculum that:
- aligns with the school’s priority around Respectful Relationships and Consent reflects current educational thinking with a clear focus on the future of work
- effectively addresses the personal development needs and growth of Senior School students by age
- is compliant with the Australian Curriculum
- is compliant with Child Safe requirements
- is routinely reviewed to ensure effectiveness and relevance to the Senior School student cohort
- employs evidence-based research supporting innovative approaches to Wellbeing education
