MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally in the IT sector
• Successful implementation of IT projects, preferably in the introduction of ERP systems in production companies
• Sound knowledge of project management methods (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, Agile)
• Experience in the application of the Lean IT philosophy for process optimisation is an advantage
• Strong leadership and team skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of local languages (Portuguese, Chinese) would be an advantage

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

To strengthen our international team in Switzerland, which is also active in Portugal and China, we are looking for a dedicated Head of PMO for IT to lead our projects to success.

CORE TASKS

• Establishment of an internal IT PMO based on the LEAN-IT philosophy.
• Responsibility for the planning, implementation and monitoring of IT projects within the company
• Ensuring that project targets are met in terms of time, budget and quality
• Leading and motivating the PMO team
• Step-by-step strategic development and implementation of project management standards and methods based on the development stages of Lean IT maturity
• Coordination of the introduction of an ERP system in the production environment
• Application and promotion of the Lean IT philosophy to optimise processes and reduce waste
• Communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders, including management, departments and external partners
• Identification and management of project risks
• Continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools
