Description:
Broughton Veterinary Group has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Head Receptionist to join our friendly team.We are looking for an individual with experience in team leadership and outstanding customer service skills to thrive in a dynamic veterinary environment, with responsibilities at both the Broughton Astley and Lutterworth branches.
The ideal candidate should be friendly and approachable, capable of exercising initiative while also collaborating effectively within a team. Proficiency in accuracy, numeracy, and computer usage is essential. The responsibilities of this role include managing, supporting and motivating the reception team, which encompasses conducting regular meetings, performance evaluations, scheduling reception shifts, and overseeing holiday management.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the Clinical Directors, Practice Manager, and Head Nurse to ensure that all relevant information and tasks are communicated to the team efficiently.
The position also entails various administrative duties and other veterinary-specific tasks, necessitating a flexible and helpful attitude. While management and customer-facing experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as training will be provided.
The position requires availability for shifts from Monday to Friday, which will consist of a combination of full and half days within the hours of 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, as well as Saturday morning shifts (approximately one a month) on a rotational basis.
