We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Horticulture students! TAFE NSW are seeking individuals to work as a Head Teacher of Horticulture located at the Wagga Wagga Campus. Travel will be required in the Riverina area.

To be eligible for positions at TAFE NSW, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
An Eligibility List, valid for 18 months, may be created for this position, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently becomes vacant, may be filled via this Eligibility List
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a Certificate III or higher qualification in Horticulture, Landscape Construction or Parks and Gardens.
- Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications in the discipline and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
- Meet the selection criteria in the position description.
- Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Evidence of successful completion of an approved program of teacher education, or evidence of successful completion of an acceptable teaching qualification*
- Current (AQF) Level 5 or higher qualification in Vocational Education and Training (VET) OR hold a TAE40122 or equivalent and commit to obtaining the AQF Level 5 or Higher qualification within 18 months of employment
