AT PENNINE VETS WE TAKE CARE OF A WIDE RANGE OF PETS FROM THE FLUFFY TO THE SCALY, THE BIG MUTTS AND THE MINI MICE AS WELL AS EVERYTHING IN-BETWEEN. THIS MEANS OUR TEAM ARE ADAPTABLE, UP FOR A CHALLENGE AND HAVE CARE AND COMPASSION AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING THEY DO.

Never managed a team but want to progress in a leadership role? Fantastic, you’d be supported in your development by our Practice Director and the most engaging and positive team you’ll find. You would be working across both the Bury and Bolton sites but would be mainly based at Tottington so you can really put your stamp on the practice.

Here are some of the key responsibilities you’ll expect as Head Nurse:

  • Overall responsibility and accountability to lead the nursing team
  • Responsible for all aspects of nursing team management including recruitment, development, onboarding new PCA, Receptionist and Nursing team members, absence reporting and monitor in line with CVS policy
  • Client communications, queries and complaints
  • Administration of patients ensuring our clients are updated fully of treatments and relevant drugs
  • Lead by example and be instrumental in creating excellent working relationships
  • Setting direction – contribute for plans of any future growth, understand and actively promote company policy initiatives within the nursing team

  • This is a full time role, 36 hours per week with 1:6 Saturdays only. No OOH, No Sundays and very limited Bank Holidays.
  • Salary DOE but happy to discuss in person.
