Job Title: Headteacher – ASC School Location: Newark Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Enhanced Pension + Bonuses
ABOUT US:
I am currently working with an establish children provider to help them find a new Headteacher for a specialist school in Newark dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). They are committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment where each student can thrive and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
Together are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Headteacher to lead the school with vision, compassion, and strategic insight. As the Headteacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience for our students, empowering staff, and engaging with parents and the local community. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, developing our curriculum to meet individual needs, and ensuring our pupils receive exceptional support to achieve their best outcomes. The team is established with great experience and understanding of the students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strong and motivational leadership to staff and students
Develop and implement an inclusive curriculum tailored to ASC needs
Ensure all safeguarding and regulatory requirements are met
Collaborate with parents, carers, and stakeholders to build supportive partnerships
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of school staff
Lead and manage school operations and budgets to drive positive outcomes
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth
