Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an experienced and hands on Health & Safety Manager to lead all things health and safety across our New Zealand operations.
Reporting to the Chief Executive you will hold:
- A positive, engaging approach to working with multiple project stakeholders including clients, contract manager, site managers, site staff, subcontractors, suppliers and the general public.
- Minimum of five years experience in managing health and safety across multiple sites and regions.
- Health and safety qualification (level 6 or higher).
- ICAM qualification.
- Thorough understanding of HSWA, regulations and industry guidelines and standards - with the ability to apply those through practical civil construction work methods.
- Experience in all aspects of health and safety management including; critical risk management; incident investigation and management; subcontractor management; site auditing; training and coaching; health and safety system management and review; and health and safety committee management.
- Expertise in data analysis, reporting and communication across all business levels including our site teams, management, board and clients
- Ability to regularly travel throughout New Zealand
