COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Gourmet Food Parlour is a vibrant and growing hospitality brand with over eight restaurants and a dedicated catering division. As we continue to expand, we’re looking to enhance our team with a dedicated Health and Safety Officer. This role will play a pivotal part in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance across all of our locations, fostering a safe and engaging environment for both our employees and our guests.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Essential:
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification or equivalent in Health and Safety.
- HACCP certification (Level 3 or higher).
- Experience in health and safety advisory roles, preferably in the hospitality or food service sector.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and fire safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and engage staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in customer complaints and food safety issues.
- Desirable:
- Experience overseeing multiple locations or units.
- Familiarity with health and safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001).
