Due to the continued growth of our business, an opportunity has arisen for an adaptable, motivated, and enthusiastic Health and Safety Officer to join our friendly company and also our sister company in West Bromwich.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a newly created role within a small team, and you will be reporting directly to our Health & Safety Manager.
We are looking for a conscientious and passionate individual to work within the Health & Safety team to ensure that Health and Safety standards are embedded within the company and compliance is carried out to the highest standards in line with required legislation, company policies and procedures.
As a Health and Safety Officer you will be responsible for undertaking inductions, audits, inspections and risk assessments, monitoring accidents and incidents, training development and review, policy development and review, providing advice and guidance to colleagues, report writing, and other areas as deemed appropriate to support the needs of the business.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE.

The successful candidate will have:

• Health & Safety qualifications:
• NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (minimum) or equivalent.
• Fluent in Punjabi or Hindi or Urdu
• Experience in undertaking auditing, inspections, and assessments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
