Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our in home team.
DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT AND WORK SETTINGS:
19 month old with Tracheostomy and G tube feeding in need of respite care in home
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience as a health care aid, support staff or with medically complicated individuals not required, but preferred. Previous experience working with infants or children preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Provide care and attention for the well being, cognitive development and medical needs of child
- Ensure safety of individual through medical intervention such as tracheal suctioning, maintaining medical equipment, and managing feeding pump
- Cleaning duties for medical equipment
- Use play therapy and basic sign language to meet Occupational and Speech therapy goals
- Hygiene support, diapering as needed
- Other related duties as assigned
