ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you’ll work as part of a close-knit team providing excellent patient focused care within the 33-bed medical ward which consists of both Neuro and Cardiac patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to a qualified nurse, any changes in a patient’s condition that may require nursing intervention.
  • Refer patients’, relatives’, and colleagues’ queries to the Nursing Staff.
  • Accompany patients (including their friends and relatives) between Departments.
  • Assist patients with eating and drinking when required.
  • Assist in patient hygiene and elimination procedures.
  • Transport Clinical specimens / Prescription charts, as directed, to the relevant departments.
  • Enter requests on the computer as directed.
  • Provide direct basic technical assistance to medical staff as and when required.
  • Assist with observation and collection of specimens.
