Description:
The bladder and Bowel team are looking for a Health Care Assistant to work as part of the community multi-disciplinary team supporting the life-changing care we provide to support the population of Brighton & Hove and High Weald, Lewes & Havens.
We are looking for an individual with good organisational and communication skills, and be able to work under their own initiative and follow directions. You must be an enthusiastic and dedicated to providing personalised care. Whilst we welcome applicants who have an NVQ in healthcare, not having a recognised qualification should not be a barrier to applying. It is your experience and willingness to learn we value.

Bladder and Bowel is a multidisciplinary service which includes Specialist Nurses, Nursing Associate, HCA and Psychotherapist team members. Its aim is to improve health outcomes for people with bladder and bowel conditions by providing interventions to patients and by increasing the level of skills and knowledge within other SCFT service through joint working and education.
Applicants must be a car driver and have access to their own vehicle with business insurance.

To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide health care, and support under the direction and supervision of qualified staff to patients living in the community. This includes assisting in the ongoing assessment and provision of care and reporting all changes in patient status to senior staff. The role also involves providing administrative support to the diabetes team.
