Health Care Assistant (casual) Murchison Hospital & Health Centre

Casual position covering staff leave, working on an as required basis.

We are looking for applicants who have a mature outlook and the ability to get on with a wide variety of people. Previous experience in a hospital, or aged care environment, would be an advantage; however, training will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Year 11 NCEA level 1 English (or equivalent)
• Year 11 NCEA level 1 Maths (or equivalent)
• NZQA level 3 qualification (or equivalent)*

Desirable

• Home Carer Certificate (or equivalent)

The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $58,100 - $68,309 based on the current NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA, dependent on skills, experience & relevant qualifications.

• Availability to work across a variety of shifts, sometimes at short notice, is essential.
• Shifts are 8 hours in duration, Monday to Sunday, AM, PM and Nights
