Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Walk in Centre as a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant. The purpose of this role is to provide support to our trained nurses and Doctors in caring for our patients.
A large part of the role involves implementing Nursing plans of care for patients requiring cleaning and dressing wounds, ensuring that the highest of infection prevention and control are adhered to.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to develop their interpersonal, communication, and caring skills. Successful applicants will have a range of training and development opportunities which will be available in-house. The healthcare assistant will provide patient centred, compassionate care at all times and act as an advocate for the patient.
Tasks will be delegated by the registered nurse. The post holder will provide direct patient care will be responsible for ensuring that patients are cared for in a safe environment and that privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
This role will be varied and interesting. In addition to the opportunities to engage in direct patient care, the successful candidate will also provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the team and will have additional responsibilities in relation to ensuring that clinical areas are adequately stocked tidy and clean.
