Description:
We have opportunities available for HealthCare Assistant to join our fantastic team in our Operating Theatres at Health New Zealand Counties Manukau District.
With specialities including Burns, Plastic Reconstructive & Hand Surgery and Maxillo-facial.
We offer care under National Burns Centre, Regional Centre for Hand and Reconstructive Surgery.
There are few places in New Zealand that can offer Theatre Nurses the incredible clinical scope and diversity in their day like Counties Manukau!
You will work in our new facilities with state of the art equipment. Ongoing Learning and Development is actively encouraged at Health New Zealand Counties Manukau District and there are real career opportunities available for those nurses that want to take their nursing career to the next level.
Essential Criteria:
- Level 4 Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience
- or Level 3 HCA certificate with 2+ years HCA experience or equivalent (to be assessed)
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in Operating Theatres
