Description:

The post holder will contribute to the provision of health care to the people of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) by providing direct support to the ENT Team.
They will be responsible for basic patient care, and undertake specific interventions for patients under the direction of a registered nurse, and in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures.
The post holder will use own initiative when delivering personal basic patient care, in accordance with CTMUHB policies and procedures and departmental protocols. They are responsible for escalating any concerns immediately to a registered nurse or medical staff in the ENT Team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and dedicated Health Care Support Workers to join our ENT outpatients department in the Princess of Wales Hospital.
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse . The individual will be required to have good communication skills to be able to relate to patients, members of patients families and the multidisciplinary team that work within the clinical area.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
