Health Care Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic health care assistant to work as part of a team on ward 4 in the Princess of Wales Hospital.
Ward 4 is a speciality ward caring for patients with acute cardiology and endocrine problems. It is a busy and fast paced environment where the whole strive to ensure excellent and safe care is delivered to all patients. There is a high care bay where there are critically ill patients being nursed, ensuring you are constantly learning and enhancing your knowledge and skills.
We will invest in your training by ensuring you learn new skills to support and work closely with the registered nurses on the ward. You will attend training sessions on, basic life support, performing ECG’s, pressure prevention, and other skills needed.

Provision of care to patients with medical conditions- mainly cardiology and endocrine under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
